The second scarf woven on a warp of brightly coloured stripes, threaded in a pattern kindly sent to me by jhttextiles, after I admired the pattern on her instagram page. i've adapted the lifting sequence a little bit and added a border at either side. The warp is 30/2s Chinese spun silk, hand dyed in my workshop and the weft is a commercially dyed, very fine silk which I bought at a mill sale many years ago. I plied it up to the thickness that matches the 30'2s. The finished scarf measures approximately 11” wide by 70” long, plus the tasselled fringe at either end.

Care advice: when necessary wash in luke warm water with detergent, (I use shampoo), and steam press when nearly dry.
