The second scarf off the warp with the 2 combined pattern lines. I changed the shaft lifting sequence for the return part of the zigzag to create a bit of sparkle like the light on the water in the sand ripples close to the water’s edge. The weft yarns were all dyed with vegetable dyes I’d collected, including avocado stones, apple leaves, apple twig bark, ling heather and meadowsweet roots.
