The first scarf on a 4 colour echo weave threading warp. The pattern is an adaption of an AVL School weave draft I found on the handweaving.net website, which I subscribe to. The 4 warp colours are my usual 30/2s silk, hand dyed in my workshop; the weft is a very fine, commercially dyed black silk, 6-plied to bring it to the same weight as the warp yarn. Care advice: when necessary cool hand wash with detergent, (I use shampoo), and steam press while still slightly damp.
