The colours and patterns of this scarf were inspired by a photograph in a gardening magazine. Woven on the same 100% silk warp as the 3 Tutenkhamen scarves; all colours were dyed by me, using natural dye for all the golds and yellows of the warp and synthetic dyes for the greens and oranges in the weft. Size 74” x 11” approx., (28 x 178 cms) plus the 5” tasselled fringe at either end.

Care advice: hand wash in tepid water with a little detergent, (I use shampoo), and steam press to bring out the full shine of the silk.
