The first scarf woven on a warp of brightly coloured stripes, threaded in a pattern kindly sent to me by jhttextiles, after I admired the pattern on her instagram page. i've adapted he lifting sequence a little bit and added a border at either side. Warp and weft are both the same 30/2s Chinese spun silk, hand dyed in my workshop. The finished scarf measures approximately 11” wide by 70” long, plus the tasselled fringe at either end.

Care advice: when necessary wash in luke warm water with detergent, (I use shampoo), and steam press when nearly dry.
