The design of this scarf was based on the patterns on the wings of the Malaysian Lacewing Butterfly. The warp is fine silk commercialy dyed in grey and cream; the weft is my hand dyed 30/2s silk. The finished scarf is 12” wide by approximately 68” long, plus the twisted tassels at either end. Click on the main picture to view all images at full size.

Care advice: cool hand wash in detergent, (I use shampoo), hang to dry and steam press when nearly dry.
