Quite a name for a chicken isn’t it! But I do admire it’s plummage and this scarf is my take on that, with some poetic licence taken for the neck feathers. The Warp yarns are commercially dyed fine silks, used 2 and 3 fold, and the weft yarns are my usual 30/2s Chinese spun silk hand dyed in my workshop. The scarf measures approximately 12” by 68”, plus the twisted tassels at either end. Click on the main picture to view all images at full size.

Care advice: cool hand wash in detergent, (I use shampoo), hang to dry and steam press when nearly dry.
